What is a Room Type?
After Host starts to create a new room, they need to choose between two room types:
- Select One âś…
- Rank Options đź“‹
This section introduces the differences between these two.
Select One

Share your thoughts
Select One room is ideal for making a single, shared decision together.
Everyone contributes their thoughts to the room. Because Noni supports anonymous participation, it’s a safe and open space to share honestly — even bold or uncertain ideas are welcome.

Comparisons and discussion
After everyone has submitted their thoughts, Select One guides the team through one-on-one comparisons.
Two thoughts are shown at a time anonymously, and participants simply choose the one they prefer. There is also room for discussion after each round.

Result: One shared decision
By gathering everyone’s thoughts and comparing them thoughtfully, Select One helps your team arrive at one direction — together.
Rank Options

Add the options to rank
Rank Options is designed for gathering input from your team and prioritizing ideas into one final ranked list.
As the host, you provide a list of options for each participant to rank in their own order.

Form personalized lists
After Host has added the options to the room, one-on-one comparisons begin, similar to the Select One room. However, in Rank Options, each participant completes the comparisons independently without group discussion.
Finally, the process ranks the room options into a to a personalized list that reflects each participant’s individual preferences.

Result: Final ranking
By gathering preferences from every participant, Rank Options combines all personalized lists into a collective team ranking.
