Our ATR Wine & Art evening was a success: 17 participants, 17 finished paintings, and luckily no paint splashes around the office!
The theme of the evening was birch trees, and the paintings were created using just a wide brush for the background and a painting knife for the birch trees. Most of us were complete beginners, with only a few having tried painting before. The techniques felt luckily easy to follow, although the birch trees turned out to be the trickiest part.
During the evening, we enjoyed cocktail bites by VoiVeljet Catering, accompanied by wines selected by their wine expert, including non-alcoholic options.
There was also plenty of time for conversation. People met old acquaintances, made new connections, and found common topics to talk about. Our own Jenny also added another cultural element to the evening with Tai Chi.
At the end of the evening, everyone had their own painting to take home. We also raffled off a painting created during the evening by our artist and former client Päivi Korvenranta.
