CustomTools for SolidWorks®
CustomTools is a totally SolidWorks® integrated program, which helps everyday routines and makes them easier. CustomTools is an official Solution Partner product of SolidWorks.
All functions in CustomTools are easy to use by simple user interface. The user interface in CustomTools is fully Windows® compatible, so it's easy and efficient to use the program.
CustomTools is programmed listening to customer needs, i.e. SolidWorks users have been able to tell their opinion in the development process. It is easy to adapt the program to everyday use because the program originates in Customer needs and hopes.

- CustomTools acts as a "database" inside SolidWorks documents, which can be specified by the user.
- CustomTools can be linked to MRP or you can use Microsoft Access database. In both cases you are able to explore and preview existing documents according to the document attributes.
- You can easily export data from CustomTools for example to the MRP and also import data from MRP.
- Data can be easily used in drawing templates, BOM, etc.
- Printing is easier with CustomTools than ever! You can for example print all drawings related to an assembly by a single click with the mouse. you can also specify a correct paper size and printer beforehand for every Drawing Template. CustomTools makes the drawings to print correctly, using the right printer, orientation and size.
- With CustomTools you can easily and quickly generate a BOM to your personal needs.
- You can easily add "yellow notes" to documents with CustomTools, which can include custom data about the model or drawing. For example change notifications etc.
