Jomet Oy is a manufacturer of innovative automatic packing and palletizing systems, based in Forssa, Finland. Jomet uses SolidWorks to design tailor-made cardboard and paper packing systems for specified applications, such as multi-format packaging, difficult products and complex packing patterns.
The challenge
Jomet wanted to move from AutoCAD 2D to SolidWorks while keeping and even improving the advanced integration between their design software and their ERP system. After evaluating offers from various parties, Jomet chose ATR Soft as the best in terms of customization to fit their very specific requirements.
CustomTools
ATR Soft used CustomTools to tightly integrate Jomet's existing ERP to their 3D engineering services. Providing a high level of automation during the design process, CustomTools gives Jomet's designers more time to do actual engineering. In addition, CustomTools has helped them to bring a new level of standardization to their design work.
