Engineering tool desinged to bring more clarity to data management

CustomTools for SolidWorks® is an easy-to-use engineering tool for item and structure information management. It increases productivity by making everyday SolidWorks routines easier and faster to use.
CustomTools automates SolidWorks implementation for example by assisting in creation of drawing templates and bill of materials.
With CustomTools, installation and customization is done by use of user-friendly and trouble-free wizards. It is also possible to use pre-configured default settings. CustomTools is seamlessly integrated with SolidWorks and can be linked to MRP systems to import or export items and item structures.
The file translation operations and assembly based batch printing of CustomTools is combined as a batch job in which all tasks are automatically executed at one go. The performing of the operation can be directed for example according to the drawing template names and sheet names.
The multilingual output which functions with the help of the database directs the language translations of different description fields concentratedly and translates the language of drawing sheets by directing the layers of drawings. In connection with the batch operation for example a manufacturing quantity and delivery project can be given output-specifically.
Moreover the values of combination fields can be directed (for example the norm of library components or the scope of the descriptions). It is also possible to include any other than SolidWorks documents to the batch job. Furthermore, it is possible to store different batch jobs for the later execution. (See fig. 1).
CustomTools improves different data management systems, for example PDMWorks®. The advanced data search options of CustomTools can be connected to search for information directly from PDMWorks vault. In addition the conversion files can be automatically checked in to any PDM system. (See fig. 2)
